It’s Here…VideoTeaching.com!

videoteachingLate last year, we let you know about an upcoming project that would allow churches around the globe to access excellent teaching videos from gifted communicators for free. Though it’s a little bit later than originally planned :) - today, we’re excited to announce the launch of that project…VideoTeaching.com is live!

Since I want you to experience the site, I’m not going to keep you here long, but did want to let you know a few key things:

  • Your church can create an account and download high-quality teaching videos today for free.
  • You’ll find messages from some amazing pastors and teachers, with more on the way in the near future.
  • The site also features a Learning Center with lots of great tips and advice to help your church get the most out of VideoTeaching.com.

We really appreciate the generous communicators who jumped on board to share their messages for free. It will be great to see how churches around the world benefit from these resources in leading people to Christ.

Next Up: VideoTeaching.com

videoteachingIt was great to see so many churches using shared teaching this June during One Prayer. More than one million believers around the globe learned together through powerful messages about who God Is… It’s incredible to think that a message recorded in Australia can change a life in Costa Rica or that a pastor in a small American town can influence people in Ghana, Guatemala, and points in between.

Both this year and last, we heard from many churches who were trying video teaching for the first time and were amazed at the results. We’re excited about seeing shared teaching on a global scale, and are building on that momentum with the launch of VideoTeaching.com. If you haven’t heard us mention it before, VideoTeaching.com is a site where churches will be able to download high-quality video messages from gifted Christian communicators. It’s all free, and it’s launching next week!

We’re adding finishing touches to the site, uploading more messages, and getting ready to share VideoTeaching.com with the world. In the meantime, feel free to let your friends know about what’s coming. See you on the site soon!

Who’s Sharing Messages on VideoTeaching.com?

videoteachingOver the past few months, we’ve been developing VideoTeaching.com and talking to gifted pastors and teachers who are interested in sharing their messages with other churches. New communicators are continuing to come on board, but we couldn’t wait any longer to give you a look.

We’re thrilled to have generous leaders like these on VideoTeaching.com and appreciate their willingness to offer free high-quality video teaching to churches around the world. The library of available teaching will become more and more diverse as we welcome additional communicators with different perspectives.

So when will these messages be available for you to preview and download? Soon! Look for the site to launch in the next two months. We’ll keep you posted as details develop.

VideoTeaching.com: Add Your 2 Cents

We’re in the thick of developing VideoTeaching.com and wanted to share the latest. In case you missed our initial post, VideoTeaching.com is a site that will allow your church to access a free online library full of high-quality video messages from gifted Christian communicators. Here’s a quick update and an opportunity to shape the content on the site:

  • We expect the site to launch in the first quarter of 2009.
  • Churches will be able to preview messages and download a high-quality file for use in their weekend services.
  • Messages will be organized by series (where available) and searchable by topic, teacher, scripture reference, etc.
  • Most messages will be 25-45 minutes in length.

We’re currently assembling the team of pastors and speakers who’ll be contributing content and already have some very exciting leaders on board. We’re not quite ready to share that list though, because we want you to have an opportunity to weigh in: who would you like to see on VideoTeaching.com? Head over to VideoTeaching.com and let us know who you’d like to come speak at your church…via video.

I can’t share all the specifics but I wanted to let you in on a few exciting details. We’re developing VideoTeaching.com to distribute free teaching from top Christian communicators. Churches around the world will be able to download high quality video sermons from a library of teaching messages. We’re assembling the team of teachers who’ll be contributing content to the site and expect to announce them early this December. Want to know who? Sign up on VideoTeaching.com and you’ll be amongst the first to know!
