The Porn Event

Later this month, we’re offering an online event that has the potential to help thousands of individuals around the world who are struggling with pornography. From May 23-28, we’re partnering with XXXChurch.com to host ThePornEvent.com, a 25-minute interactive experience where people can learn more about the effect porn has on our lives and relationships.

ThePornEvent.com is open to people everywhere, so feel free to leverage it to help individuals at your church. Expect a non-threatening environment featuring stories, helpful answers, and an open conversation with people who’ve traveled a similar path. ThePornEvent.com is for anyone who is interested in what it looks like to live a life beyond pornography.

Powerful stuff Craig, great that you are partnering and presenting it in a way that is safe and accessible to the many lives affected by it globally.

I would also recommend this FREE 60-day online devotional Purity challenge found at http://www.settingcaptivesfree.com

Do you guys have any more info? Like who will be speaking? How will it be interactive? Is is the same 25-minute segment played over and over, or will each differ because of the”interaction”? Do you recommend wives watch the men’s segment with their husbands? Will spouses who have an addicted husband/wife be encouraged through this, or is it mostly for the addict?

Don’t misunderstand my questions: I’m excited about this! I’m planning with one of our other pastors a men’s breakfast that will discuss the issues brought up in this event. We’d just like to know a little more info as we publicize it. Everything seems fairly vague and general - just would like a few more details as I invite men to participate.

    Thanks!

Hey, this is REALITY…porn is NOT. It is the biggest lie to hit our generation of men and women. I am grateful that our church, Lifechurch.tv and Triple X church are taking such a proactive charge against the enemy. I have posted it to my Facebook page and want all my minister connection to know about it.

In serving at Life Church, and as a part of Craig’s ministry at Single Truth (First UMC Oklahoma City) and now with Life Church, that his compassion is enormous for all people struggling with what the World throws up on them and his teaching very sound and biblical.

As a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, I highly endorse this ministry.

    Hi guys,
I didn’t see this event, but have been challenged and blessed by lifechurch (Craig’s honesty and openess) and XXX church (to see the work they’re doing in Vegas was great - inspiring as we go out to reach our strip clubs and nightclub generation).
In one of Craig’s preach’s on “Once upon a marriage” he mentioned some software that I’ve recommended to guys in our Young Adults mix, but I can never seem to find the name of it. The software emails your accountability partner(s) with the web address of any website you go on that is “questionable”. Myself and some of our YA guys (who could use this type of accountability) would love to do this, so if you could let me know the details I would appreciate it!

Thank you, and keep up the God work!
    Bless you all!
