It’s been exciting to see promotion for Craig’s new book hitting national stores lately. The Christian Atheist is set to release in just one week, so I thought I’d share a glimpse of what you can expect.

Thanks for the review. Looking forward to reading Craig’s book. The 40 second video above really lays it out doesn’t it!?! The fear of God is something we just don’t live or believe in any more.

I’ve struggled recently trying to understand in what way God wants us to “fear Him” as mentioned in this promo ad. I have a “fear of the Lord” and knowing God hates sin and needs judgement, which is why Jesus had to pay the price. But I also emphasize God’s love for all humans who bear His image and I believe He wants them to enter His Kingdom. Some in my family think I’m too grace-based in my understanding of God, and not enough “hell and damnation” fear of God. Thoughts?
