Great Conferences

There are quite a few conferences over the next few months that will be a great opportunity for the Church to get together, learn, and take new ideas back to our communities:

  • The National Leadership Forum: a free webcast on September 10-11 featuring Jack Welch, TD Jakes, Patrick Lencioni, Erwin McManus, Craig Groeschel, and more.
  • The Nines: a free online event on 9-9-09 at 9:09am CDT featuring nine-minute leadership lessons from a very long list of gifted speakers.
  • Spur Leadership Conference: at Lake Hills Church in Austin, Texas on October 1-2 featuring Senior Pastor Mac Richard, Governor Rick Perry, Kem Meyer, Steven Furtick, and more.
  • Catalyst: in Atlanta on October 7-9 featuring Andy Stanley, Louie Giglio, Malcolm Gladwell, Rob Bell, and more.
  • Hillsong Conference Europe 09: in London on October 7-10 featuring Joseph Prince, Flip Flippen, Nicky Gumbel, Craig Groeschel, and more.
  • Catalyst One Day: in Baltimore, Maryland on November 16 featuring Andy Stanley and Craig Groeschel.

Members of our team will be participating in many of these events and we look forward to connecting while we’re there!

What upcoming conferences are you excited about?

My interest has really been piqued by the Dirt Conference…I work for a smaller church, and it has been difficult to find a conference that speaks to the situation we’re in, and it seems like Dirt is what I’ve been looking for…so I’m considering that.

And I’d love to go to Hillsong…but, that is a little out of the question this year….but I can dream, right?

Can’t make Catalyst. No Sticks this year. Now you tell me that CatalystOneDay is in Baltimore? Nothing near Indy? You just ruined my day Bobby. :) Here’s to hoping that COD finds its way closer.

I’m excited about Catalyst One Day because it’s here in Baltimore. Having it close makes it easier to attend and invite volunteer leaders.

Nick, I went to One Day in Dallas this spring with a group of volunteer leaders and we all LOVED it. It’s a really great way to honor and inspire key volunteers at your church.

I’m really pumped about Catalyst in the ATL again this year. This is my 6 year going and it is by far the best money I have spend on re-energizing myself and ministry each year. its also the place I first heard Craig and joined the LC.tv Network shortly after.
Hope to see some LC.tv people there.

Thanks! I’d been looking for a local conference. Spur is only 30 minutes from my house, and I hadn’t heard of it before. Signed up yesterday.

For two years, the HNL Conference in Honolulu has been amazing! Feb 25-27, 2010. Thos year featuring John Bevere and other local pastors from Hawaii. It would be a good break from freezing weather about that time…. http://Www.equipandinspire.com
