I’ve seriously been awaiting this announcement since the day you all launched YouVersion.

The New Living Translation is currently the script of choice for me, and has been the past five years.

Tried this several times today for the first time without any success. It turns out that in my part of the world, “First Corinthians” is indicated by the appellation “I Cor” using the capital letter I. In this system, it appears as “1 Cor” using the number 1, which is why we have people walking around saying that verses are in “one Corinthians,” which not only sounds ridiculous, but doesn’t appear in any Bible I’ve ever owned. Other than that…

I use the NLT for daily devotions and for working with new believers. I use it and NASB for study. We us NLT for most of what we do publicly as a church. It is so easy for people to understand.

I love the NLT for readability, but for preaching/teaching I use the NIV simply because it’s what most of our people use, have memorized, etc.

I also like the ESV, but it just isn’t as prevalent.

This will great to have the NLT on my iPod now!

I really enjoy reading the NLT version. The concepts are communicated in language that really makes sense to my Gen Y, right brain, non-linear kind of thinking… which is a tough thing to do! Thank you for working so hard to get NLT on my iPod Touch!

I use the NLT exclusively for working with students I think that it really allows them to grasp the word. And as a young man I thought I might go to hell if I did not use the NIV so this is way awesome.

The list they’ve compiled in a relatively short period of time is pretty astounding. I remember when the list was only a few versions long. I strongly recommend checking this site out.
