Great questions! Accountability is very difficult for anyone, especially leaders because we are held to that higher standard 2nd timothy chapter 2 pretty high standard to live up to!!

I’ve found that for accountability to really work, the onus is on the person being held accountable. IE, I need to seek it out. And it’s so easy to hide behind poorly crafted questions (speaking from past experience here). My advice is to give people the three questions you absolutely wouldn’t want them asking you. That cuts right to the heart of the matter. :)

Another great set of questions Craig and so important. It is so easy to get into a rut and think you are “the greatest thing since sliced bread” when others see you differently. This is a good set of questions to see exactly what others see (if they will be honest and you can take it). Thanks for this whole week’s worth of probing questions. They will serve well.

so true craig. for my marriage, my wife and i do marriage maintenance with my pastor and his wife every two months, and i have three close friends that i have evaluate me regularly. thanks again and so true.

After the posts this week, I’m going to let my team know Craig planned our next 10 staff meetings! haha - thanks for the insight and the questions. Ed always talks about working on our church and not just in it, and these are fantastic tools to keep this critical discipline fresh.

these are great questions to personally challenge yourself with every three months or so. i will print these off if you don’t mind Craig. it is ever so important to examine yourself routinely (is that a word? lol) thanks.
