Back in the USA and a few things
I’m back in the USA and almost home to Oklahoma. Kevin and I had a great trip to Australia and really enjoyed getting to meet a bunch of pastors and church leaders down under. Thanks to all of you who came to the different meetups that we hosted. We also had a great time with the guys from Hillsong at their huge conference. Craig will be speaking at the Hillsong Conference in 2009, so if you’ve not been to Australia…now’s a good time to start saving up for a trip next July :) You can catch several pictures from the conference and our trip on my twitter feed.
Those of you that care probably already know that tomorrow is the launch of the new iPhone. We are hopeful that our YouVersion iPhone application will make it in the new app store in the morning so that you can have access to the Bible via your new (or old) iPhone. I’ll post all about the new app on swerve as soon we can confirm it is available.
We are currently doing our annual At the Movies series. It’s always been a huge hit, and many of you who don’t attend our church have asked to see it…the good news is that you can see live at any of our Internet Campus experiences. We now have 5 different experiences to choose from including one on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning (depending on where you are at in the world), so find a time that works for you and check it out. This weekend is going to be incredible. I’m glad I’m back for it.

Visit

Dear Pastors Craig and Bobby,
My name is Kailey, and I work at Summit Church in Orlando, Florida. We recently watched Pastor Craig deliver a sermon for the One Prayer series, which was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and our entire congregation. Thank you. :)
Our communications director is all about us becoming a “blogging church,” before we go multi-site. A few of us have been doing regular blogs and trying to find some quality blogs to follow. I looked for yours after I watched the One Prayer sermon, and it’s wonderful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with such ease.
If you have a spare moment, I’d be honored if you’d check out my blog sometime. It can be found at: http://kh-thoughts.blogspot.com/
Thanks again!
Welcome back to the US. The app store is up and running already. Looks like a lot of apps have made it in. I searched for “Youversion” but it didn’t turn up. I’ll continue to look for it over the next few days.
The Bible iPhone app is definitely in the new App Store. It can currently be found at http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=282935706&mt=8
Bobby & Kevin - Thanks for meeting up. Glad you enjoyed our country.
Booked in for next year’s conference already. Can’t wait to hear Craig live.
thanks again
Jason
Daniel,
I just woke up…looks like the app is in the store, I’ll have a post out today about it. You may want to search for Bible.
Check it out and give it a review.
Bobby
