I have thought about this, blogged about this, talked about this, and dreamed about this. Here are my Top 5…

1. Ending racism within the church, and eventually the world.
2. Bridging the gap between Jesus Christ and this generation.
3. Creating quality jobs for the unemployed and underprivileged.
4. Ending poverty.
5. Providing every child the opportunity to attend college.

orphans, orphans, and orphans! Orphans internationally, orphans here (foster care system) and the orphans that have an earthly mom and dad but need their Heavenly Father! Adoption is my passion! :)

Adoption, and foster care.

Creating reconciliation and healing between the races. Bringing together churches of various denominations, race together to share resources and communicate together at conferences and workshops. I would love to see material with various cultures represented (not all churches have the resources to available to create quality video, curriculum, etc to reach the masses).

One of the causes that I am linked to is Manna Worldwide. I am a part of there leadership. They help start feeding center in areas of need and those centers become a platform to share the gospel. Great ministry based out of Fort Worth, Tx. Our Church has begun to focus our missions work in this direction. They also start Medical Centers, Orphanages, and many other ministries that will help meet physical needs while sharing the gospel.

Bobby, At the risk of sounding self-absorbed and narrow-minded, my first passion is being my personal best for Jesus Christ. While it may seem like a typical "Christian" response to the question that you posed, my answer carries weight with me. If I'm at least working on being my best, then I can give my best to other causes. The next greatest passion of my heart is helping the Church to be relevant in today's culture. While the Gospel is timeless, it seems that God's people--America, and beyond--often trap themselves in time capsules. Lately I’ve been reflecting on the “little” blessings from God:
-clean water
-food
-fresh air
-job
-good health
-comfort

And I started thinking about those who desire the “little” things that I take for granted. Take away one of the things I listed above would be unimaginable… so is giving one of the things from my list to those who truly need it.

Locally, I am deeply disturbed by the number of of couples in serial marriages that that I find my counseling. I want to see the church equip people to be effective in finding healing and hope for their marriages.

Globally, I have a heart for providing quality healthcare worldwide. My roomate from college is a medical missionary so I think that plays a big part in my passion in this area.

Causes: Kids…health, hunger, homelessness, literacy. And the environment. It gets a bad rap as a cause in the Christian community, but it seems like we should be better stewards of this gorgeous world God has given us.
