iphone-usercontrib.pngOh, I almost forgot…of course it works on the iPhone :)

Be sure to check it out using your mobile phone at Terry Storch, Brad, Andy and the rest of Team Digerati would love to hear any feedback you might have. I think they’ve done a great job with it!

Pastors/church leaders, this a great tool to promote to your church and through your blogs as it is a simple, free and very accessible way to get people engaged with Scripture!

Now, let’s help our Swerve readers and others who might find this post when looking for a mobile Bible by helping them find some great Scriptures.

What is one of your favorite verses in the Bible? One of mine is Galatians 2:20 (We’ll link them all up to after you comment so people can dive right in)

This earth belongs to Him, not Satan:

Daniel 7:14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

I think it’s fabulous! I’ve been waiting on the iPhone version for a while! Now it just needs a cute webclip icon to match! :)

And a general suggestion for not the mobile version in particular, would be to choose a reading plan from several different options. I am currently working on a “Bible in 90 Days” plan and I would love to have that as an option, also a 365 day plan going from Genesis to Revelations would be great as well! :)

    GREAT job, all around! :)

  15. Apr 29, 2008 at 12:24 pm

Cool! I just tried it on my Treo.

    Great job.
I’m excited, but also what about our account information? Will there still be login and journal and contributions from the mobile pages?
I agree with Lisa as well…a webclip icon for the iPhone.

    Thanks for the hard work.

  24. Apr 29, 2008 at 5:31 pm

Bobby, Terry Storch, Brad, Andy and the rest of Team Digerati…this is fantastic! I tried it on my iphone and it works great! Thanks for adding the Spanish translations!

Would it be possible to add the NIV in Spanish or the Biblia en Lenguaje Sencillo? I’ll pass on You Version on my blog and our website to our Spanish audience!

    Great job guys!

Hey Bobby, on a side note, I saw you at the ARC conference in Birmingham, AL and wanted to stop by and say hi, but missed ya somehow. Well, maybe on another occasion.

My favorite passage is Revelation 20:11-15, it’s a reminder as to what’s going happen if we don’t reach people for Christ.

    God bless guys!

great, but why pay the carriers each time to read it with gprs usage, so its not free at all, rather buy from and it lands on the phone for ever, with great search functions, no extra costs to the carrier each time you read and a hefty bill at month end!by buying a Bible you don’t violate copyright and revenue goes for a good cause, namely Bible distribution!

Because of you and your open and willing hearts… God’s Kingdom continues to expand! Oh… one of my favorite verses, because I love to laugh… Psalm 2:4, “The One who rules in heaven laughs.”
