Great Post! I really agree with you on the point you made in this post and in the one about the 5 things you hate: AppleTV needs a "loop video feature."

I'm in the same boat. If it had a feature like that, we would likely buy 2 or 3 of them right away to put into use as digital signage....

Knowing apple, there will be a software update to fix this soon, or they will introduce this feature in the next generation.

I noticed my TiVo now has the ability to share home videos with other TiVo users. This could be a great tool as well. Upload a video of a class or a sermon and let small group leaders and/or campuses download the video to their TiVo and play it whenever they meet.

I know apple is known for it's simplicity but for this device to be used more effectively I think a remote with more functionality is necessary.

Great assessment of the strong points, Bobby.

I agree with you on the video-loop feature being important to open the door for yet another use for Apple TV. Perhaps just as important as looping would be the ability to create "video playlists" that would even further expand this function. Additionally, I would like to see Apple implement a way to use Keynote presentations on it.

I also agree that the screensaver options could be expanded, though I think the standard 'saver it comes with is quite cool for those of us who use it heavily for photos.
