Finally

Bobby Gruenewald and I are excited to join the world of bloggers. While our church, LifeChurch.tv, has used blogging tools and technology to communicate for several years, we have not personally blogged until now.

You might ask, “Why start now?”

This past year we have witnessed the power of what God does when churches work together to reach this world. We have been blown away by the response and impact that has come from other churches using the resources that we’ve been able to share through LifeChurch.tv/open. At the same time, we’ve benefited from ideas and friendships from many of your blogs. We hope to use this blog as a way to both learn from you and share what we’re learning with you.

So before we begin to post….it would be appropriate to thank several of you who have challenged and inspired us over the past few years through your blogs. This list is not complete and is not in a particular order, but it is a start:

Seth Godin at sethgodin.com
Mark Batterson at evotional.com
Kathy Sierra at headrush.typepad.com
Perry Noble at perrynoble.com
Dave Ferguson at daveferguson.typepad.com
Geoff Surratt, Greg Ligon and Warran Bird at multisitechurchrevolution.com
Brad Abare and Kevin Hendricks at churchmarketingsucks.com
Todd Rhoades at mondaymorninginsight.com
Dino Rizzo at dinorizzo.com

    Welcome to the blog world!

I lead a book club life group at Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge LA. and the second book we read was “Chazown” (C.S. Lewis’ “The Great Divorce” was the first because it is my all time favorite book) it really helped me so much, thanks for writing it.

    Blog on!

Hey guys! Glad you’re doing this. To be honest, I didn’t know much about you guys or your church until the A2 conference. Since then, I’ve been telling everyone I know about “this groeschel guy,” and his passion and humility and intensity…I get fired up thinking about it again!

Anyways…I can’t wait to hear what you guys are thinking!!

Thank you guys so much for being accessible to “regular” people. I hope to plant a church one day and will certainly apply much of what I’ve experienced at Life Church (I don’t live near any campuses anymore, except the internet campus, of course). I hope to glean much from you guys’ blogs.
